Anmute Technologies (“Anmute Tech”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about visitors, learners, and clients (“you”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to anmutetechnologies.com, our training dashboard/pages, forms, and any services that link to this Policy.

1) Information we collect

a) Information you provide

  • Contact & inquiry data: name, email, phone, and message content submitted via “Reach Out to Us” and other site forms.

  • Account & enrollment data: name, email, login credentials, cohort preferences, and any profile information when you Enroll or Login to access training modules. 

  • Newsletter data: name and email when you subscribe.

  • Recruitment & staffing data (if applicable): résumé/CV, role preferences, location, compensation expectations, interview notes.

  • Payment data: if you make a purchase (e.g., training), payment details are processed by our payment provider(s). We receive limited billing metadata (e.g., status, timestamps) but not full card numbers.

b) Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect:

  • Usage & device data: IP address, browser type/version, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, time on page, referring/exit pages, and general location (country/region).

  • Cookies & similar technologies: to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and secure the site (see Cookies).

c) Information from third parties

  • Analytics & advertising tools may give us aggregate insights (e.g., page performance, conversion).

  • Platform partners (e.g., learning or email platforms) may share limited data necessary to operate your account or deliver content.

2) How we use your information

  • Provide and improve our training, mentorship, consultation, staffing, mock interview, and placement services; personalize content and learning paths. 

  • Process enrollments, authenticate logins, and administer learner dashboards.

  • Respond to inquiries, send service communications, and deliver newsletters you opt into.

  • Operate, secure, debug, and enhance our websites and internal systems.

  • Run surveys, testimonials, and promotions (where applicable).

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3) Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) to deliver training and related services you request.

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) to secure and improve our services, prevent fraud, and communicate non-marketing service updates.

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for optional emails/marketing cookies.

  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) where we must retain/process data.

4) Sharing your information

We share information only as needed to provide and improve our services, including with:

  • Service providers under contract (e.g., hosting, analytics, email, customer support, learning platform, payment processors).

  • Staffing/placement clients and background-check partners (only with your knowledge/consent as part of the process).

  • Legal/disclosure: to comply with law, safeguard rights, or complete a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.

We do not sell your personal information.

5) International transfers

We operate and use providers in multiple countries (including the United States). If your data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, DPAs, or other lawful mechanisms).

6) Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy—typically:

  • Account/enrollment: for the life of the account and a reasonable period after closure.

  • Inquiries/newsletters: until you unsubscribe or your request is resolved, plus a short audit period.

  • Legal/compliance: as required by applicable law.

7) Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, object, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can:

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in each message.

  • Update account details in your dashboard or by contacting us.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You may request disclosures about personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion; and opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not sell personal information). Use the contact method above.

Nigeria (NDPR)

You may request access, correction, portability, and deletion; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with NITDA. Contact us using the email above.

8) Cookies & similar technologies

What cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary (security, session, load balancing).

  • Functional (preferences like login state or form autofill).

  • Analytics/performance (to understand visits and improve content).

  • Marketing (only if/when used; we will request consent where required).

9) Training accounts, forums, and user content

If you participate in mentorship groups, mock interviews, or cohort forums, content you share may be visible to instructors or peers within that context. Please avoid posting sensitive personal information.

10) Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for adults and older students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable) without appropriate consent.

11) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No system is 100% secure; please keep your credentials confidential and notify us of any suspected compromise promptly.

12) Third-party links and platforms

Our site may link to third-party websites or tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those before providing information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after the update means you accept the changes.
